Rating: 3.5/5
This Uruguayan red presents itself with a deep purple colour and a fully developed bouquet offering a subtle blend of blackcurrant and blackberry aromas with a subtle hint of charred wood and cedar. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a grippy texture thanks to its high tannin levels, acidity is also medium plus in intensity, while flavours of cranberry and red currant are supported by secondary notes of charred wood and tertiary leather.
