Rating: 3.0/5
This 2015 Haut-Simard displays a deep ruby colour with a clear appearance. The nose shows a complex mix of blackberry aromas with a medium plus intensity. On the palate, the fine-grained texture and medium acidity balance well with the medium tannin, evoking flavours of blackberry and strawberry. A medium plus flavour intensity with earthy tertiary flavours follows. As the wine finishes, its medium plus length complements its overall balance and complexity, making it a suitable drink now but capable of ageing.
